The Last Tree (2019)
Femi (Nicholas Pinnock) es un niño británico de ascendencia nigeriana que disfruta de una feliz infancia en Lincolnshire, donde es criado por su madre adoptiva Mary rodeado de un grupo muy cercano de amigos. Su vida cambia radicalmente cuando su madre biológica le reclama. De su adorable casa pasa a vivir en un pequeño piso en el centro de Londres, donde la realidad que le rodea es muy distinta. Femi tiene grandes problemas para adaptarse, especialmente debido a la falta de conexión que siente hacia su madre. Para poder sobrevivir en las calles, el joven muchacho decide cambiar de actitud, tratando de forjar su propio destino con un carácter mucho más duro y sin las ataduras que representaron sus dos madres en el pasado.
