Dan, un científico inglés, llega a un pequeño pueblo pesquero para investigar el descenso en la capturas. Pronto empiezan a aparecer cadáveres... y la falta de pesca será el menor de sus problemas. Dan y Katrina, agente nacional de pesca, tendrán que enfrentarse a un misterioso monstruo y a los desconfiados habitantes del pueblo.
