The mother (2003)
Tras la muerte de su marido, May (Anne Reid), una mujer madura que vive en las afueras de la ciudad, va a Londres a ver a su familia. Durante su estancia, se ve arrastrada por la ajetreada vida de sus hijos. En la gran ciudad, lejos de su hogar, May tiene la impresión de haberse convertido en una de esas mujeres invisibles para los demás y cuya vida ya está acabada. Pero, de repente, se enamora de Darren, un hombre al que le dobla la edad (Daniel Craig) y que se acuesta con su hija.
