Por encima de todo (1992)
El 22 de noviembre de 1963, tuvo lugar en Dallas el asesinato de J.F. Kennedy, Presidente de los Estados Unidos. Lurene Hallett (Michelle Pfeiffer) es un ama de casa que se siente emocionalmente tan vinculada a Jackie Kennedy que decide tomar un autobús para asistir al funeral. Durante el trayecto conoce a un hombre negro que viaja con una niña triste y silenciosa, lo que la lleva a sospechar que se trata de un secuestro. Lurene se entromete en el asunto, y el resultado es que los tres acaban teniendo que huir de la policía.
