Dos pillos y una herencia (1975)
En Estados Unidos, durante los años 20, la "Ley Mann" prohibía que un hombre cruzara una frontera con una mujer, si no estaba casado con ella. Nicky (Beatty), un granuja a punto de divorciarse, pretende viajar de Nueva York a Los Ángeles con una rica heredera llamada Freddy (Channing). Para hacerlo sin violar la ley, convence a Óscar (Nicholson), un caradura que le debe favores, para que se case con Freddy, les acompañe durante el viaje y se instale con ellos por un tiempo. Los problemas empiezan cuando Óscar decide exigir sus derechos matrimoniales y se destapan las verdaderas intenciones de ambos hombres.
