Una pandilla de adolescentes matan el tiempo en la bolera del padre de uno de ellos. Son muy buenos jugadores, les gusta la música swing, pero no son para nada los chicos más populares de su escuela. Todo cambiará al celebrarse un campeonato entre distintas escuelas. Drama juvenil realizado para la televisión por la productora Disney. El director es Rod Daniel, un prestigioso director de series televisivas, entre las que destacan "Boston Common" o "Raymond". Entre su filmografía también aparecen títulos de comedias infantiles como "Beethoven 2, la familia crece" o "Super agente K-9".
