SPFX: The Empire Strikes Back (Los efectos especiales de El Imperio Contraataca) es un documental de 1980 narrado por Mark Hamill sobre la realización de Star Wars: Episodio V El Imperio Contraataca. En 1982, se editó en vídeo por 20th Century Fox en VHS, Betamax, CED y Laserdisc como parte de un programa doble con The Making of Star Wars de 1977 (también en español en Betamax en 1984 con los dos documentales juntos) y más tarde fue reeditado como característica triple con The Making of Star Wars y el especial de 1983 Classic Creatures: Return of the Jedi. También se incluyó en el box-set Star Wars saga Blu-ray lanzado en 2011.[1]
