Los lazos que unen (1995)
Leann y John Netherwood son una pareja de delincuentes desarraigados que recorren el país acompañados por su pequeña hija de seis años, Janie. Durante una de sus fechorias son interceptados por la policía, que no logra deternerlos, pero sí quedarse con la niña, que pasa a un centro de custodia. Los Netherwood la encuentran con una familia que la ha acogido y convierten la vida de los padres adoptivos en una pesadilla.
