Arac Attack (2002)
Un accidente provoca que un barril de residuos tóxicos caiga en un lago cerca de un pueblo minero de Arizona. El veneno afecta a las arañas exóticas que un entomólogo tiene en su museo y las hace crecer hasta proporciones gigantescas. Chris (David Arquette), el dueño de las minas, se une a la sheriff Sam (Kari Wuhrer) y a su hijo Mike (Scott Terra), un experto en arácnidos, para detener a las monstruosas criaturas que amenazan con devorar a los habitantes del pueblo. Con la ayuda de otros personajes pintorescos, tendrán que enfrentarse a las hambrientas arañas y evitar que se extiendan por el mundo.
