Una encuesta llamada milagro (1948)
Oliver H. Pease (Burgess Meredith) sueña con ser un gran periodista, pero tiene que conformarse con ser el redactor de la sección de mascotas perdidas de un periódico. Su mujer (Paulette Godard) le propone que se convierta por un día en El Reportero Errante con el fin de conseguir interesantes historias que le permitan alcanzar el éxito que tanto anhela. Por capricho del productor, el episodio que protagoniza Charles Laughton, fue sustituido por otro interpretado por Dorothy Lamour; el filme se tituló desde entonces "On our merry way" (Por nuestro alegre camino).
