Retratos de una obsesión (2002)
Sy Parrish es un hombre anodino y tímido que dirige desde hace años el laboratorio fotográfico de los grandes almacenes “SavMart”. Vive solo, adora su trabajo y es un auténtico perfeccionista a la hora de revelar los negativos. Cientos de fotos, en las que aparece la familia Yorkin, tapizan las paredes de su vivienda. Desde hace años, los Yorkin llevan sus fotos a revelar a SavMart. Son una perfecta familia de los suburbios y Sy no puede resistirse a seguir sus vidas a través de las copias de sus fotos. Pero un día, el director de los grandes almacenes, Bill Owens, lo despide. Sy consigue hacerse con una serie de fotografías donde aparece Will Yorkin en pleno adulterio y, consternado por el comportamiento del padre de esta familia “perfecta”, Sy decide hacer algo al respecto.
