Doctor Fausto (1967)
El sabio Dr. Fausto (Richard Burton) es un astrónomo, conocedor de las ciencias y las matemáticas. Una brillante eminencia medieval. Un día, acude al bosque para hacer algo que sobrepasa la ciencia y lo natural: comunicarse con el diablo. Así lo hace y firma un pacto con él a través del príncipe infernal Mefistófeles (Andreas Teuber). El diablo le concederá a Fausto todos sus deseos, inclusive el amor de Elena de Troya (Elizabeth Taylor), y Fausto, a cambio, le venderá su cuerpo y su alma cuando hayan pasado 24 años. Pero el tiempo de Fausto pasa de zanjar su deuda surge el arrepentimiento por su inconsciente pacto.
