La última tentativa (1965)
Henry Thomas (Steve McQueen), un convicto al que le conceden la libertad condicional, vuelve a un pequeño pueblo de Texas, donde actúa como cantante de una banda. Su madre le insta a que deje de cantar y reanude sus estudios. Su mujer, Georgette (Lee Remick), y su hija vuelven para vivir de nuevo con él; pero su fuerte temperamento pondrá en peligro su libertad.
