William Clark Gable (1 de febrero de 1901 - 16 de noviembre de 1960) fue un actor de cine estadounidense. En 1999, el American Film Institute nombró a Gable séptimo entre las mejores estrellas masculinas de todos los tiempos. El papel más famoso de Gable fue el de Rhett Butler en la película épica de la Guerra Civil de 1939 Lo que el viento se llevó, en la que protagonizó junto a Vivien Leigh.
