Charles Drake (2 de octubre de 1917 – 10 de septiembre de 1994) fue un actor estadounidense.Drake nació como Charles Ruppert en la ciudad de Nueva York. Se graduó en Nichols College y se convirtió en vendedor. En 1939 se dedicó a la actuación y firmó un contrato con Warner Brothers. No tuvo éxito de inmediato. La Segunda Guerra Mundial interrumpió su carrera; Poco después de completar su servicio militar, Drake regresó a Hollywood en 1945 y su contrato con Warner Brothers terminó. En la década de 1940 realizó algunos trabajos independientes, como Una noche en Casablanca. En 1949 se trasladó a Universal Studios. En 1955, Drake recurrió a la televisión como uno de los protagonistas de la sociedad anónima en Robert Montgomery Presents y tres años más tarde se convirtió en el presentador del semanario de espionaje televisivo británico Rendezvous. En 1959 protagonizó la película del oeste, No Name on the Bullet, donde interpretó a un médico dedicado a salvar un pequeño pueblo de un peligroso asesino. En 1967 interpretó el papel de Oliver Greer en el episodio de The Fugitive The One That Got Away. Actuó en 83 películas entre 1939 y 1975, entre ellas Scream, Pretty Peggy. Más de 50 fueron dramas, pero también actuó en comedias, ciencia ficción, terror y cine negro. Murió el 10 de septiembre de 1994 en East Lyme, Connecticut, a la edad de 76 años.
