Yutaka Nakamura (中村 豊, Nakamura Yutaka, nacido el 22 de diciembre de 1967) es un animador y director de anime japonés originario de la prefectura de Fukuoka. Después de trabajar en Ad Cosmo y Art Office Sharaku, se unió al estudio de animación ToroToro. Actualmente trabaja en Bones. Tras graduarse el instituto, se inscribió en la academia de animación Yoyogi y tras graduarse, se unió al pequeño estudio de animación Ad Cosmo, donde trabajó en proyectos para Toei Animation y Sunrise. En 1991, después de participar en el proyecto «Taiyou no Yuusha Fighbird», dejó Ad Cosmo unos seis meses después. En 1994, se unió al estudio de animación ToroToro, donde participó en las producciones de Sunrise de «Escaflowne» y «Cowboy Bebop». Saltó a la fama por primera vez por su trabajo en Bebop. Después de que Masahiko Minami y otros dejaran Sunrise para fundar Bones, comenzó a participar en producciones de la nueva compañía, incluidas las películas de animación «Escaflowne» y «Cowboy Bebop, la película: Llamando a las puertas del cielo».
