Ginger Rogers (Virginia Katherine McMath; Independence, Misuri, 16 de julio de 1911-Rancho Mirage, de California, 25 de abril de 1995) fue una actriz, bailarina y cantante estadounidense y ganadora de un Óscar. En sus 62 años de carrera, hizo un total de 73 películas. Aunque recordada por sus papeles junto a Fred Astaire en una serie de diez películas musicales que revolucionaron el concepto del musical moderno, Ginger fue una talentosa actriz (ganadora de un Óscar, ostenta el número 14 en la lista del AFI), muy versátil en diversos géneros y con una gran capacidad interpretativa para la comedia.
