Michael Kevin Paré (n. Brooklyn, Nueva York, Estados Unidos; 9 de octubre de 1958) es un actor estadounidense de cine y televisión. Conocido por sus actuaciones en películas como Streets of Fire (1984), Village of the Damned (1995), Hope Floats (1998) o Las vírgenes suicidas (1999). Michael Paré nació el 9 de octubre de 1958 en Brooklyn, Nueva York, Estados Unidos. Hijo de Joan, ama de casa, y de Francis Paré que poseía varias tiendas. Tiene seis hermanas y tres hermanos. Su padre tenía ancestros franceses y canadienses, mientras que los de su madre eran irlandeses. Su padre murió cuando él tenía cinco años, a causa de una leucemia, dejando a su madre al cargo de su gran familia. Fue un gran atleta, siendo su primer deporte el boxeo. Paré estudió para ser chef en la Culinary Institute of America, trabajando en ello hasta que se retiró para ser modelo masculino. Su trabajo como modelo le abrió las puertas de la interpretación, cuando fue descubierto por el director de casting Joyce Selznick; en los años 80 estudió interpretación.
