Lauren Bacall (nacida Betty Joan Perske; Nueva York, 16 de septiembre de 1924 – ibíd., 12 de agosto de 2014) fue una actriz estadounidense. Inició su carrera como modelo, y después empezó a trabajar en el cine. Participó en unas 40 películas, entre las que destacan los clásicos de cine negro Tener y no tener (1944), The Big Sleep (1946), Dark Passage (1946) y Cayo Largo (1948), así como otros filmes de géneros diversos como How to Marry a Millionaire (1953), Designing Woman (1957), Harper, investigador privado (1966), Asesinato en el Orient Express (1974) y The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996). Sus interpretaciones la hicieron acreedora de múltiples premios, entre ellos un premio del Sindicato de Actores, un Globo de Oro y dos Tony. Por su trayectoria profesional recibió el Óscar honorífico, así como el premio Cecil B. DeMille, el César Honorífico y el Premio Donostia.
