Taj Mahal Badalandabad vit aux Etats-Unis avec ses parents. Bien décidé à suivre les traces de son père, il part en Angleterre pour parfaire sa formation à l'Université de Camford. A son arrivée, il est reçu par l'élite. Mais les différences culturelles qui séparent le jeune Taj de ses camarades britanniques vont rapidement lui poser problème... Bien décidé à ne pas se laisser faire, Taj décide de fonder sa propre confrérie et lancer un défi à cette élite, moins maligne qu'elle n'y paraît....
