Pour toucher un "héritage fantôme", un jeune citadin est obligé d'aller vivre chez son frère au far-West. Ils se heurtent rapidement car l'un est un "intellectuel" et l'autre est un vrai cow-boy. Ils vont néanmoins essayer de gagner des sous par tous les moyens...
