L'Anglais (1999)
Du moindre voyou aux chefs de la pègre, tout le monde est prévenu : « The Limey » (l'Anglais en argot de marin) est en ville et cherche vengeance. L'Angliche, c'est Wilson qui, après neuf années de prison en Angleterre, débarque à Los Angeles pour venger sa fille, morte dans des circonstances suspectes. Il découvre un monde nouveau, dont il ne connaît pas les lois. Plongé dans les bas-fonds, il affronte des criminels endurcis, à la recherche d'indices pour reconstituer un puzzle, à partir d'une seule piste : sa fille avait une liaison avec un producteur de disques.
