Catherine est sous le charme de Paul, son nouveau directeur, et ses sentiments sont réciproques. Tout semble parfait jusqu'à ce qu'elle devienne la principale suspecte du meurtre de son ex-femme. La situation empire lorsque l'assistante de Paul est également retrouvée morte. En cavale, Catherine est prête à tout pour sauver sa mère, qui a été kidnappée par le véritable meurtrier.
