Le dixième homme (1988)
Basé sur le roman du même nom de Graham Greene, il s'agit de l'histoire d'un avocat français, Chavel, qui, alors qu'il était emprisonné par les Allemands pendant l'occupation, échange ses biens matériels contre la vie d'un autre prisonnier condamné au peloton d'exécution. À la fin de la guerre, Chavel, se faisant passer pour l'un des autres prisonniers, retourne dans sa maison qui est maintenant occupée par Thérèse, la sœur du prisonnier à qui il a échangé ses biens, et qui attend amèrement le retour de l'homme qui avait indirectement causé la mort de son frère. Sa véritable identité, inconnue de Thérèse, Chavel est invité à rester comme gardien et à identifier Chavel s'il revient à la maison. La relation entre Chavel et Thérèse se développe jusqu'à ce qu'une nuit, quelqu'un se faisant appeler Chavel se présente à leur porte...
