La Vie selon Gus Orviston (2010)
Les Orviston ont toujours adoré la pêche, et Gus, le fils aîné, partage cette passion. Vivant à Portland avec sa famille, il ne se satisfait pas de sa situation et ne supporte plus les méthodes de ses parents, sa mère pêchant à la ligne, son père à la mouche. Aussi, il décide de prendre le large et s'installe loin de la civilisation, dans une cabane perdue dans les forêts de l'Oregon, à proximité d'une rivière. Là, Gus part en quête de la truite arc-en-ciel parfaite et s'adonne à ce qu'il considère comme la vie idéale : dormir, manger et titiller les poissons. Sa quiétude est troublée par l'irruption d'une jeune femme passionnée de pêche, Eddy...
