Jason X (2001)
Jason Vorhees, le célébrissime tueur en série au masque de hockey, a finalement été capturé. Ne pouvant être détruit, celui-ci se retrouve cryogénisé, comme la charmante Rowan qu'il tentait de tuer. Près de cinq siècles plus tard, la Terre est devenue inhabitable suite aux méfaits de la pollution. Venus de la planète qui a servi d'asile à la race humaine, de jeunes archéologues partent en voyage sur la Terre pour étudier les causes du cataclysme écologique. Au cours de leurs recherches, ils découvrent un caisson réfrigéré contenant ce qu'ils pensent être l'un de leurs plus vieux ancêtres. Afin de le préserver et d'en savoir plus, ils décident de ramener ce corps cryogénisé ainsi que celui de Rowan sur leur vaisseau spatial. Jason ne va pas tarder à sortir de son hibernation...
