Excalibur (1981)
Le roi Uther Pendragon reçoit de Merlin l'Enchanteur l'épée Excalibur, avec laquelle il doit unifier la terre. Mais sa passion pour Ygraine, l'épouse du duc de Cornouailles, ruine les espoirs de paix de Merlin. L'Enchanteur accède à la demande d'Uther de lui offrir une nuit avec l'objet de son désir, mais réclame en échange le fruit de leurs amours. Il espère trouver en cet enfant l'Élu capable d'unifier la terre.
