La Ballade de Bruno (1977)
À sa sortie de prison, Bruno S. décide de s'amender. Son ami Scheitz l'aide à reconstruire sa vie. Les deux hommes rencontrent Eva, une jeune prostituée qui cherchent à fuir sa condition. Bruno, Scheitz et Eva s'exilent alors aux États-Unis. Des difficultés financières ne tardent pas à assombrir le bonheur qu'ils croyaient enfin possible.
