L'Échange (2000)
Peter Bowman, ingénieur américain en Amérique latine est kidnappé par les rebelles qui réclament une rançon de 3 milliards de dollars. Ne pouvant compter sur le soutien de l’employeur de son mari, sa femme Alice fait alors appel à Terry Thorne, un ancien membre des services secrets britanniques, expert en " kidnapping et rançon ", qui a mis ses compétences au service de la compagnie d’assurance Luthan Risk International et sauvé depuis la vie de nombreux otages. Les pourparlers s’engagent dans un climat tendu. Les ravisseurs menacent périodiquement d’exécuter leur prisonnier, qu’ils transfèrent de camp et camp à travers les montagnes et la jungle, lui faisant endurer d’incessantes souffrances physiques et psychologiques. Avec l’aide d’un autre négociateur Dino et un trio de mercenaires parfaitement entraînés, Terry s’engage dans une opération commando à hauts risques pour libérer Peter Bowman.
