12 ans sans ma fille (2012)
Karen Turner est photographe. Elle vit avec Tim, son mari, à Atwater, en Californie. Leur fille, Haley, a trois ans quand elle est enlevée. Après deux ans de recherches infructueuses, Karen et Tim se séparent. Dix ans plus tard, Karen n'a pas vendu sa maison et continue ses recherches, tout en travaillant comme photographe dans des écoles. Dans le cadre de son travail, elle se rend à Colwood, une autre ville de Californie et se fait héberger par son amie, Megan. Au lycée, elle remarque une adolescente qui ressemble à Haley, Emma McQueen. Elle mène donc son enquête sur elle et ses parents, Susan et Dave.
