Stone of Destiny (2008)
Inspiré d’une histoire vraie survenue dans les années 1950, The Stone of Destiny raconte l’histoire de quatre étudiants de l’Université de Glasgow qui complotent pour voler la Pierre de la Destinée, une pierre pesant 400 livres, symbole de la couronne d’Écosse que les conquérants anglais conservent dans l’abbaye de Westminster depuis 700 ans. Passionnés, déterminés et guidés par leur patriotisme et la fougue de leur jeunesse, ils se rendent à Londres la veille de Noël. Après de nombreuses péripéties, ils réussissent par miracle à voler la fameuse pierre sous les yeux des policiers. Et lorsqu’ils ramènent leur célèbre butin en sol écossais, tout le pays est en liesse.
