La Chambre obscure (2000)
Aliénor, jeune fille du XIVe siècle, parvient, au péril de sa vie, à soigner le roi de France, victime d'une fistule. En récompense, elle demande au souverain de la marier avec Bertrand de Roussillon qu'elle aime depuis son enfance. Mais celui-ci refuse de consommer le mariage et s'enfuit combattre en Toscane.
