Rawhead Rex : le monstre de la Lande (1986)
Howard Hallenbeck, un américain, sillonne l'Irlande avec sa femme et ses enfants, afin d'étudier les monuments de ce pays. Il s'intéresse particulièrement à une église qui aurait été bâtie sur un site sacré, antérieur aux invasions romaines. Pendant ce temps-là, un fermier abat un énorme obélisque trônant au milieu de son champ, ce qui provoque, à son insu, la libération d'un démon très ancien, jusqu'alors gardé prisonnier par la pierre dressée. Ce monstre, le "Rawhead Rex", sème la mort et la terreur dans la campagne environnante...
