The Secret Bride (1934)
Avant que Ruth Vincent, fille d'un gouverneur d'État, et Robert Sheldon, procureur général de l'État, ne puissent annoncer leur mariage, le gouverneur est accusé d'avoir touché des pots-de-vin. Pour éviter l'apparence d'un conflit d'intérêts, ils décident de garder leur mariage secret. Les intrigues politiques se multiplient et personne n'est tout à fait ce qu'il semble être. Sheldon et Ruth doivent bientôt choisir entre sauver la carrière du gouverneur et la vie d'un innocent.
