Guido (23 ans) vit dans une petite ville de la plaine du Pô. Orphelin adopté, il a obtenu par la violence le respect de ses pairs dans le milieu raciste et viriliste où il a grandi. Mais lorsqu’il rencontre Sonia, jeune immigrée kosovare, un soir en discothèque, il va devoir choisir entre son amour et tous ceux qui s'y opposeront…
