Un Noël en famille (2002)
Mary Maloney est journaliste à la télévision. Elle rêverait de présenter le 20 heures mais son patron ne fait aucun effort pour la promouvoir à ce poste. C'est la période de Noël et, cette année encore, il ne neigera pas en Californie. Comme tous les ans, Mary est chargée d'apprendre aux enfants à rédiger leur lettre au Père Noël. Mais Mac, le directeur adjoint, soucieux de faire rêver les spectateurs, suggère à Mary de lire le courrier des enfants. Il espère y trouver une histoire qui, en ce Noël caniculaire, sera un véritable conte et surtout fera remonter l'audience. Mary découvre ainsi qu'une petite fille du nom de Félicie a écrit au Père Noël pour lui demander une maman. Mac flaire l'audimat et envoie Mary en mission chez la petite fille qui vit avec son père.
