Scandale en première page : Sarah Farley, riche héritière, est la cible d'une campagne de presse organisée par Tyler, journaliste spécialisé dans les scandales. Pour se venger, elle annonce dans la presse leur mariage. Tyler est renvoyé de son travail. Il intente un procès à Sarah. Mais finalement, ils se rendent compte qu'ils sont amoureux l'un de l'autre.
