La Fille des prairies (1949)
Sam Bass fraîchement arrivé à Denton, au Texas, attire l’attention de l’intrépide Calamity Jane en calmant son cheval emballé, mais il est sensible au charme de Katherine Egan, la soeur du shérif. Lors d’une course de chevaux, Sam, bien informé, gagne gros en pariant sur le bon cheval. Le shérif, qui déteste les joueurs, ne veut plus le voir tourner autour de sa sœur et lui demande de quitter la ville…
