Jours de canicule (1970)
Quelque part dans l'archipel au large de Sandhamn vivent le barbier Assar Gustafsson et sa fille Anna-Bella, âgée de 17 ans. À l'improviste, sa femme revient après cinq ans d'absence. Elle ouvre un bordel dans leur maison de bains, avec Anna-Bella comme attraction principale, un bordel qui attire des hommes de partout. Assar, intimidé, commence à prendre des dispositions pour que sa femme s'en aille définitivement.
