Six ans après les événements qui ont transformé son adolescence en cauchemar, Mike Pearson sort de l’hôpital psychiatrique où il a été soigné pendant tout ce temps. Du passé, il en est toujours imprégné, prêt à reprendre le combat contre le sinistre croque-mort à l’origine du trafic des cadavres du cimetière de Morningside vers une autre dimension. Bientôt rejoint par son ami Reggie, Mike s’engage sur les routes de l’Oregon. D’une ville fantôme à l’autre, les deux hommes découvrent que leur vieil ennemi a considérablement étendu son terrain de chasse…
