It Felt Like Love (2013)
Lila, jeune fille solitaire et renfermée traîne son ennui dans un quartier du sud de Brooklyn. L’été de ses quatorze ans, elle s’attache à Samy, petite frappe plus âgée, rencontrée sur la plage de Rockaway, qui ne lui prête guère d’attention. Cherchant à se faire valoir auprès de ses amis, Lila s’invente une histoire d’amour avec Sammy et s’enfonce peu à peu dans le mensonge jusqu’à prétendre avoir couché.
