Le dernier souhait (2008)
Enfant, Kate a grandi dans le Massassuchetts avec ses parents, Daniel et Mary. Mais à l'âge de 9 ans, Kate perd sa maman. Daniel, dépassé par les évènements, abandonne sa fille. 25 ans plus tard, Kate est devenue une brillante et talentueuse jeune femme, rédactrice en chef d'un grand magazine féminin et sur le point d'épouser Stewart. Tout semble aller au mieux pour Kate, jusqu'au jour où elle reçoit une lettre de son père. Mourrant, il lui fait part de ses dernières volontés et demande à Kate de répandre ses cendres dans le village de son enfance. Pas disposée à lui pardonner mais bien décidé à vivre en paix avec elle-même, elle se rend sur place avec Jeffrey, son assistant.
