En 2008, la promo de terminale du lycée de North Meadows voit son année écourtée par une tornade. Désormais trentenaire, elle doit retourner sur les bancs de l'école pour enfin obtenir son diplôme. Amours de jeunesse, secondes chances… un vrai cauchemar. Une comédie grinçante.
