Missing (1982)
Charles et Beth vivent en parfaite harmonie avec les habitants d'un quartier populaire de Santiago du Chili. Le 11 septembre 1973 éclate le coup d'Etat du général Pinochet. Charles découvre la présence surprenante de conseillers américains sur le sol chilien. Depuis ce jour, nul ne l'a revu. Son père, un américain, imprègné des vertus de son pays, part à sa recherche.
