Un Nouveau Départ (2006)
Après avoir pris la fuite de Los Angeles avec sa fille de 11 ans, Hallie trouve refuge près d'un ranch perdu de Californie. C'est Chance Coulter qui dirige ce vaste domaine. Grâce à lui, Hallie obtient un emploi dans un café local et pense pouvoir prendre un nouveau départ dans la vie. C'est sans compter avec l'opiniâtreté de Paul, son ex-mari. Corrompu, ce procureur-adjoint de Los Angeles estime qu'elle en sait beaucoup trop sur ses activités. En effet, Hallie a récupéré des documents qui prouvent l'implication de Paul dans le meurtre de son père.
