La Route des Indes (1984)
Miss Adela Quested part épouser en Inde un jeune magistrat. Fuyant le nationalisme étroit et l'arrogance de la colonie anglaise, elle part à la découverte de l'Inde profonde. Elle rencontre un jeune médecin indien Aziz mais ne comprend pas les motivations du jeune homme ou ses propres sentiments à elle, ce qui provoquera l'énigme tragique des caves de Marabar.
