Les derniers jours de la planète Terre (2006)

Lloyd Walker, un archéologue, commence à se poser de sérieuses questions à propos d'une série d'accidents et de disparitions qui a eu lieu à San Francisco. D'autant qu'un journaliste lui a aussi fait part de ses soupçons sur ces faits étranges. Lloyd pense également trouver du soutien en la personne de Liz Quinlan, une employée de la mairie, qui semble prendre ses inquiétudes au sérieux. Un jour, alors qu'il se trouve dans les sous-sols de la mairie, il réalise que des aliens ont commencé à coloniser la Terre et que, sous la forme d'insectes, ils se sont introduits dans les corps d'humains, devenant ainsi indécelables. Ces extraterrestres s'en prennent prioritairement aux membres du gouvernement...
