Wyoming Story (1999)
Myrl Redding, un fermier courageux et fier, attaché aux notions de tolérance et de justice, conduit son troupeau vers une foire aux bestiaux. Il est arrêté en chemin par Henry Ballard, un riche propriétaire qui impose désormais un droit de passage sur ses terres. Furieux, Myrl accepte néanmoins de payer. Faute d'argent, il laisse en caution deux chevaux sous la garde d'un ami indien. A son retour, les bêtes ont été battues à mort et son ami est grièvement blessé. Décidé à obtenir réparation, Myrl se heurte à un juge corrompu puis se résigne à faire justice lui-même. Escorté par une horde de fermiers en colère, il traquera Ballard dans tout le Wyoming.
