Les premières neiges sont tombées sur Séoul. Munho, professeur d'art plastique, retrouve son ami Hunjoon, cinéaste sans le sou qui vient des Etats-Unis. Ils partent sur les traces de Sunhwa, une jeune fille dont ils étaient tous les deux amoureux quelques années auparavant.
