Rosita (1923)
Chanteuse des rues à Séville, Rosita est le seul soutien de sa famille misérable. En plein carnaval, elle enthousiasme la foule avec une chanson de sa composition moquant le roi d'Espagne, qui vient de promulguer un impôt injuste. Don Diego, un jeune aristocrate sans le sou, qui tente de la défendre face aux sbires venus l'arrêter, est emmené avec elle. Cependant, lorsque Rosita est confrontée au roi, celui-ci tombe sous son charme.
